When you arrive at the Los Angeles Convention Center, you'll need to go to registration before you can enter the show floor. Registration is located in the South Hall lobby. It’s not mandatory - but you are more than welcome to come in drag, whatever that means to you!

Feel free to wear the most glamorous outfit in your closet, the most comfortable outfit in your closet, or anything in between.

Please do keep in mind when planning your outfits for the weekend, that DragCon is an all-ages event and the convention center is a public space that expects all attendees, exhibitors, contractors, and participants to abide by common-sense rules for public behavior, including getting dressed for the day. Make sure those behinds aren't just padded, but covered up too

Oh, and pack comfortable shoes! Heels look killer until they’re killing your feet. Try to wear comfortable shoes, or bring some with you. You’re gonna be doing a ton of walking!

Official DragCon After Hours Parties

Thursday, July 18th - Official Kick Off Party!
Line up to be announced!

Friday, July 19th - Official After Party
Line up to be announced!

Guidelines For Both Nights
After Hours events are 16+ events. Kids tickets do not have access to the After Parties. After Hours will take place on the Main Stage at RuPaul's DragCon(on the showroom floor) on Thursday night and then Friday night, after doors close.

A DragCon ticket is not an entry ticket for the After Hours Parties, this is a separate ticketed event.

On Thursday, ticket holders can pick up wristbands beginning at 3:00pm and can begin to line up in the South Hall lobby for entry at 6:00pm. Doors to the showfloor will open at 7:00pm and the event begins at 7:30pm.

On Friday, ticket holders must exit the DragCon floor upon closing, and can begin to line up in the South Hall lobby for re-entry immediately at 6:00pm. Doors to the showfloor will re-open at 7:00pm and the event begins at 7:30pm.

If you purchased After Hours Party tickets, you may pick up your After Hours wristband when you pick up your DragCon wristband at the registration counter. Please present your QR code for the After Hours Party to be scanned by the staff. Once they scan it, they will give you your wristband that grants you access to the party you purchased tickets for. Both parties will require you to wear your wristband all night in order to enter the party.

DragCon Tips

1

2

Print your ticket at home before you leave for the Convention Center or download it to your phone.

Get your schedule set! Check out the programming schedules, talent locations, and exhibitor locations before you arrive, and know where you want to be and when. These pages will update in real time during the event, so make sure to bookmark them and check for any changes!

4

Know your way around. Download the floor map before the show.

3

Drag Is Not Consent! Ask before you snap a photo. No shade allowed; DragCon is a love fest! If you see or feel like someone is bothering you (or being inappropriate), tell a DragCon staff member or security right away. Read our Harassment Policy.

1

Bring your phone’s charging cable, plus an external charger. You don’t wanna miss any amazing photo opportunities!

8

Bring multiple forms of payment, but especially cash! Many of our exhibitors take credit cards, but processing can be slow in a crowded building. Some queens may also prefer a digital service such as PayPal or Cash App, so it's best to prepare an account ahead of time as well. ATMs are available on site.

9

If you are traveling in a group, set a meeting point in case you get separated. Good choices are lounges or the World of Wonder booth. Phones do die on the show floor. Don’t get lost!

2

Keep the aisles moving, try not to stop in the middle. If you need to adjust your heels or wig, think of other fans and move to the side of the aisle.

3

If you have something special you want signed, bring it! Talent and queens may charge for autographs, photographs, merchandise, or meet and greets at their individual discretion. Talent is subject to change/cancelation, and DragCon does not guarantee meeting talent.

5

Because there will be bag checks at DragCon, it’s best to pack as light as possible.

Pack comfortable shoes! Heels look killer until they're killing your feet. Try to wear comfortable shoes, or bring some with you. You’re gonna be doing a ton of walking!

7

Before you arrive

6

Come in drag, whatever that means to you! It’s not mandatory, but will make for great photo ops!

Use #DragCon on your social media posts. Share your DragCon experience with your friends who couldn’t make it!

4

At DragCon

Take care of yourself! You can't enjoy the weekend if you pass out on the Pink Carpet. Eat, sleep, and hydrate!

5

The best way to support our queens is to purchase something from them at their booths, so we encourage you to budget for this when planning for the weekend!

Refunds
Tickets are non-refundable, but you can sell them to another person. You'll just need to forward them the PDF ticket attached to your confirmation email.

Upgrades
Currently, we are unable to complete any upgrades automatically on TIXR. However, our team is able to process upgrades(GA to All Star or Single Day to Weekend) manually. The easiest thing to do is purchase the new desired ticket level and let us know at help@rupaulsdragcon.com when your new purchase is complete. Once verified on our side, we can process a refund for your original purchase.

Meet and Greets
Meet and greets are not pre-sold and are separate from DragCon ticketing. Each queen manages their own space and sets their own price for meet and greets. Some might be doing meet and greets for free while others might require a minimum purchase of a merch item. Most items can cost anywhere from $15-35. All meet and greets are on a first come, first served basis with priority given to All Star ticket holders, meaning All Star ticket holders have a significantly less wait time.

Talent do tend to post their minimums and exact schedules on their socials when the event gets closer.

This is the ticket for you if you want the best and most exclusive access, the ability to meet queens as quickly as possible, and the premium DragCon experience. Queen booths will have separate queues for our GA and All Stars ticket holders.

Q: Does DragCon offer payment plans for tickets?
You bet! Payment plans are available through our ticketing site, Tixr for a flat fee of $9.99.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR INTERNATIONAL PURCHASERS: If you plan to utilize the payment plan option and have a pre-existing Tixr account that was previously used to purchase tickets to DragCon UK22, UK23, or UK24 in currency other than USD(United States Dollar), you will need to create a new Tixr account with a new email address or the payment plan option will not work.

Q: What day will my favorite queen be there?
Queens create their own schedules, so we aren't able to confirm what day each queen will be present. However, the majority of queens will be at DragCon both days with a booth on the show floor and DragCon will release programming schedules prior to DragCon weekend. Most queens post their full DragCon schedules on their socials leading up to the event. So be sure to follow your favorite queens and if they don’t post it, ask them to!

Q: How do I meet queens?
Queen meet and greets happen at their booths on the show floor! Queens manage their own booths and will dictate any requirements to meet them. Requirements can be anything from nothing at all - to a minimum merch purchase. Regardless of any minimums required to meet queens: the best way to support our queens is to purchase something from them at their booths, so we encourage you to budget for this when planning for the weekend!

Q: When is the Queen's Walk?
The legendary Queen's Walk is on the morning of the first day of DragCon - for DragCon LA, that means Friday AM. Don't miss it - it's epic!!

Q: When will the programming schedule for the weekend be released?
Programming schedules for DragCon will be released no later than the weeks leading up to the show. We promise to get it released as soon as we can - we know that planning out your weekend is half of the fun! Please note that we do not release schedules for queen M&G's - queens manage their own schedules for that, so follow them on socials to stay in the loop!

Q: Are you going to be adding more queens?
We're always adding more queens. Keep an eye on our socials and join our mailing list for the latest announcements. Please note, the line up can change from now until event days.

Q: Can I bring my child with me to DragCon?
Yes! DragCon is an all-ages, family friendly event and all are welcome at RuPaul’s DragCon. Kids 8 and under are free when accompanied by an adult with a ticket. The Kids ticket will grant them the same access to DragCon as the adult’s ticket level. Kids will be let in during All Star hours if the adult has a All Star ticket. This ticket does not include entrance to any separate DragCon After Hours Parties as kids under 8 are not permitted. Both parties are 16 and up.

If you are coming with a child that qualifies for a Kids ticket, you will add the Kids ticket to your cart when purchasing your own DragCon ticket.
